Palo Santo, who name means “Holy Wood” is a scared Peruvian wood that falls freely from the Palo Santo trees in South America. The pieces lay dead for 4-10 years to gain their spiritual healing properties before being collected. This wood is believed to have both medicinal and therapeutic healing properties. Palo Santo can be used- before, during or after meditation and ceremonies, to clear away unwanted energies after returning home from a public place, help you to connect your daily intentions, and to cleanse and reset crystal energies.

Smudging with Palo Santo Energy Cleansing Pyramid

Items needed:

Palo Santo Pyramid
Abalone Shell or Heat proof container
Stand or heat resistance pad
Lighter or matches

Sagging your home using Palo Santo:

• Place pyramid in heat proof container and light pyramid using a candle or lighter
• Say intentions out loud or silently
• Start at front door and walk clockwise though the home/space with the palo santo allowing the smoke
to fill each space. Remember to hold your intention with you as you go though each space.
