There are seven major whirlpools of energy spinning within us like glowing wheels of light that are know as “Chakras.” The term chakra comes from Sanskrit, meaning “wheel.” Each chakra can become unbalanced by being overactive or blocked due to inner and outer contributing factors. Outer contributions can include your environment, family, & friends and inner can include your thoughts, & emotions. Using crystals related to each chakra can assist in resolving the emotional, mental, physical, & spiritual imbalances. Although there are over 360 chakras with the body, there are seven major chakras as well as two additional ones located above the crown & below the root chakras.
